Coaching
Individual lessons
These lessons are on a one to one basis, where we will assess both your strengths and weaknesses, before prescribing the correct program, and working out a tailor made plan, to help achieve your personal goals. These lessons will be supported by video analysis, which can be emailed to you at home, allowing you to monitor your game improvement.
Beginners/intermediate/advanced, we cater for all levels of player. AK Golfs theory on teaching is to “teach the individual”. We are all different in everyway from size and temperament to fitness and time schedules. Our belief is that as coaches, you must tailor your coaching to suit the individual needs and goals of your pupils. Making the first few steps in golf can be daunting. Our coaching team has the experience and friendliness to make you feel at ease, in an environment that lends itself to learning new skills.
If you are an intermediate player we look to your continued development, through the understanding of the golf swing, and indentifying areas that need improving. All these factors helping to achieve those personal goals and lower your scores. For advanced or elite golfers we integrate our advanced analysis technology for golfers to learn more about the golf swing and their own tendencies. So with our in depth knowledge of the swing, we can advise you on the different departments of your game, and making those sutble changes, to maximizing potential.
Junior Coaching
We have a thriving Junior section with over 80 members, who meet on Friday evenings, enjoying FREE coaching and regular competitions, run by a dedicated team of junior helpers and the professional staff. We also offer individual lessons and group sessions (see lesson prices) at half price.
Andy and Keith are Shropshire and Herefordshire county academy coaches and are currently using their vast experience to teach some of the most promising juniors in the two counties.
